The 2013 Academy will be held the July 15-19, the third week of July.
Visit our registration page, forms are available there. Do not wait as classes are starting to fill up. Please list both first and second choice. You will be placed on a waiting list if the class is full.

The Northwest Carving Academy
The academy would like to invite you to join fellow carvers and instructors from all over the United States and Canada at the July 2013 Northwest Carving Academy in Ellensburg, WA.
Come spend the week of July 15-19 2013 at one of the classes, at the 5th annual Academy, learning from some of the best instructors and carvers in the country and share your knowledge and love of the art of carving.
Deadline for those carvers who have not paid in full is June 10, 2013.

Other activities
Bring a carving or show item for the display table and get the opportunity to be selected as the best piece on display.
After the carving is done for the day there are informal get togethers with carvers, musicians, card games and other activities.
There is a BBQ dinner one evening and ice cream social another.
There is a raffle of great donated items.
For the non-carving participants
There are painting classes, basket classes, and quilting. If you play an instrument bring it and help form a jam session.
Location
The academy is held at the Kittitas County Fairgrounds Event Center and there is RV and campsites available at the fairgrounds.
Ellensburg has great hotel/motel accommodations some with special rates for those attending the academy.
Add some extra time to come early or stay late and take in some of the wonderful sites in and around Ellensburg.
